Our Story
CalcBucket started from a simple frustration: why should complex calculations be so difficult? As a student juggling finance and computer science courses, our founder Nicholas found himself constantly switching between different calculator tools, each with their own quirks and limitations.
The idea was born during a late-night study session when Nicholas realized that what the world needed wasn't another complicated financial tool, but a collection of calculators that actually made sense to use. Something that would work the way people think, not the way software engineers think.
Today, CalcBucket serves thousands of users worldwide, from students working on homework to professionals making critical business decisions. We've kept it simple, free, and focused on what matters most: getting you the right answer, fast.

Nicholas Aiden
Founder & CEO
Nicholas is currently a senior at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a dual degree in Finance from Wharton and Computer Science. His unique combination of financial expertise and technical skills drives CalcBucket's mission to make complex calculations accessible to everyone.
During his time at Penn, Nicholas has gained valuable experience through internships at some of the world's leading tech companies, including Atlassian, Microsoft, and Google. These experiences have shaped his understanding of how technology can solve real-world problems.

Nathaniel Julian
Technical Advisor
As our Technical Advisor, Nathaniel brings valuable experience from internships at major tech companies including Meta and Netflix. His expertise in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction helps guide CalcBucket's technical direction and ensures our platform maintains the highest standards.
A Carnegie Mellon University School of Computer Science graduate, Nathaniel has gained hands-on experience developing innovative solutions that enhance user engagement. His passion for technology and commitment to excellence helps CalcBucket remain at the forefront of calculator technology.

As our Application Architecture Consultant, Anna Maria brings extensive real-world experience in real estate, stocks, crypto, and healthcare to help develop CalcBucket's Financial and Health calculators. Her deep understanding of these complex domains ensures our calculators provide accurate and practical results.
A registered nurse in both California and Texas, Anna Maria combines her healthcare expertise with her financial acumen to create calculators that truly serve users' needs. Her hands-on experience in these fields helps bridge the gap between theoretical calculations and real-world applications.

Orlan Marquez
Senior Technical Advisor
As our Senior Technical Advisor, Orlan brings over 30 years of experience in IT infrastructure architecture, building corporate networks, servers, applications, and automation tools. His extensive background ensures CalcBucket's platform is built on solid, scalable foundations that can handle enterprise-level demands.
A CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Orlan's deep understanding of network architecture and system design helps guide CalcBucket's technical strategy. His experience with automation tools and enterprise applications ensures our calculators are both reliable and performant at scale.
